Many of us remember Dani Campbell as the runner up on MTV’s bisexual reality dating show, A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila. While the show had all of the makings (fighting, binge drinking, make-out sessions, homophobia, etc.) of MTV’s usual train wreck reality hits, we couldn’t take our eyes off of Dani’s style; she added to the few mainstream masculine lesbian television personalities. Curve magazine describes Dani as “the girl next door” and Dani describes her own style as “futch” – a cross between butch and femme. We call her an icon.
