Kipper Clothiers, one of dapperQ’s favorite and trusted brands designing clothing for our community, is hosting a launch party for their Kickstarter campaign on Friday, May 2nd at Modern Appealing Clothing (M.A.C.) located at 387 Grove Street in San Francisco from 7:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. This is going to be an amazing event — dress dapper, meet the designers, mingle with other fantastic queers, and support businesses that support YOU!
Founded by Erin Berg and Kyle Moshrefi, Kipper Clothiers creates high-quality custom suiting and shirts for the LGBTQ community, or anyone looking for beautifully crafted and styled menswear. Kipper Clothiers was born when Berg and Moshrefi realized they had a mutual passion for menswear for women, transgender individuals, and allies. “We have seen too many of our friends waste time and money on clothing that was poorly crafted or only alluded to a good fit,” says Kyle Moshrefi, Co-Founder and CMO. “We know that there are other members of the LGBTQ community and other like-minded individuals who want formal clothing that creates a more masculine silhouette without compromising on fit and detail.” says Erin Berg, Co-Founder and COO of Kipper Clothiers.
“Up until now, we have done business through private appointments in customer’s homes and in a temporary office space in the Financial District. Demand has risen to the point that we are opening our own brick-and-mortar store” says Moshrefi. “The funding from this Kickstarter campaign will be used to build out our retail space and stock it with beautifully crafted accessories to compliment our custom clothing and even add on custom-made shoes,” added Berg.

Kipper Clothiers’ approach is to customize shirts and suits to each individual, ensuring a perfect fit. What does this mean? Shoulders are form-fitting, armholes are raised and pants are constructed to provide a cleaner line from the waist to the ankle. Kipper Clothiers only delivers products that pass rigorous inspection standards. Master tailors oversee every step of the design and construction process ensuring the highest quality garments are delivered, on time, to their customers.
