Menswear Blog Report: Fall Previews

I’m scouring through all the menswear blogs so you don’t have to. You’re welcome.

Did you know that, as I write this, designers have already started showing their spring and summer 2013 collections? That’s right. The entire fashion industry already knows what you’ll be wearing next year, and you can’t even decide what you’re going to wear to work tomorrow! Tisk, tisk. But, in all seriousness, it’s time to start thinking about fall and how you’re going to dress during the transition between seasons when the weather is unpredictable from one day to the next.

Wear Now, Wear Later

Park & Bond has some great recommendations on summer/fall transition pieces.

Layer, Layer, Layer

It’s cold. It’s hot. It’s hot. It’s cold. All this in one day? Park & Bond helps you master layering to beat the fickle transition weather.

Details says that a jean jacket is your most valuable layer.

Uncreate partnered with Jack Threads to create some semi-affordable fall outfits. Everything here is within $17-$100 (the boots are the most expensive item), but you have to sign up at Jack Threads to take advantage of the deals.

Debut Products

Our readers insist that J-Crew’s Ludlow suits are one of the best fits for dapperQ bodies. Good news. GQ reports that the Ludlow shirt will debut this fall.

According to GQ, Bonobos will start selling ties this fall/holiday season.

Fossil’s Estate Top Zip Work Bag

My latest obsession is Closet Freaks, a fashion blog about two guys in love sharing one closet. Here, Anthony Urbano showcases Fossil’s Estate Top Zip Work Bag. I (femme) and my gal (andro) both want this bag so bad that we’ll have to start a blog about two lezzies in love with one bag. Photo credit: Closet Freaks
