To Camo or Not to Camo?

If you had asked me a few years ago how to wear camo, I probably would have referred your question to another member of our team. You see, I once felt the same way about camo as I currently do about menswear sandals – not a fan. That doesn’t mean I’d “shouldn’t” you; I just cannot honestly recommend menswear that I do not personally find appealing. But, as a New Yorker, I’ve seen people stylishly pull off just about anything. Just take a look at Lady Gaga.

I am happy to report, though, that something has changed my mind about camo. In addition to the incredible camo styling that Jahn Hall whipped up for dapperQ’s Queer Country Fashion Show, I recently came across a picture of Dustin Tyler Moore of Closet Freaks, a blog about two guys in love sharing one closet, rocking some seriously stylish camo.

Wait, what? That’s not the camo I grew up with in New Mexico. So, I entered keyword “camo” in their search box only to be happily surprised yet again when I found his partner, Anthony Urbano, also giving an amazingly dapper interpretation of camo.

Ok. Between Jahn Hall and Closet Freaks, my mind has officially been changed. Now, here are some more ideas on how to wear one of this year’s biggest trends:
