In the fashion world, New York Fashion Week (NYFW) is light years behind us now, even though it just ended a few weeks ago. Designers, and models, and fashion mags, etc. have all moved on to better things, like summer and fall 2013 collections…yep, that’s right.
But, that won’t stop us from still talking about how one of our favorite fashion designers, Auston Bjorkman, part of the duo behind the brand Sir New York, wowed New York City Fashion Week with his Spring/Summer 2013 line.

And, here’s what the New York Post recently had to say about the brand:
Few can nail the gentrified athletic wear shtick as well as SIR New York. After stints at Thom Browne and Loden Dager, Auston Bjorkman (whose repertoire also includes leather and latex fetish wares) took a simplistic route. A mishmash of edge and elegance, SIR offers staples with something extra. For fall, Bjorkman looked to jockeys and hockey goons for inspiration. A little Seabiscuit meets Mighty Ducks for the win!
