dapperQ returns to present their eighth annual queer fashion show at world renowned Brooklyn Museum. Kick off New York Fashion Week with a happy hour hosted by Henrietta Hudson, New York City’s longest-standing brick-and-mortar lesbian bar, and check out pop-up shops featuring some of the evening’s designers before the runway showcase. The show includes new work by designers Buckethead Productions, DANITHREADS, FreeMen by Mickey, Hesta by Project Runway’s Hester Sunshine, Kirrin Finch, LLESSUR NYC, Soid Studios New York by José Gonzalez, SUN SUN. Sounds will be provided by dapperQ’s resident DJ, M.O.

Hailing from Virginia, DJ M.O. (born Monet Bernard) began her career at the University of Virginia in 2008, DJing numerous parties and events around the campus and within the Charlottesville community. After graduating, M.O moved on to play venues in Washington, D.C, and northern Virginia. Currently, M.O. has set her sights on New York City, already landing gigs around Manhattan with the likes of Whitney Day, Truckstop NYC, & Queer & Utter Bedlam. As an avid lover music and an overall good time, M.O. brings a unique style to every party she plays. Whether its Hip-Hop, Top 40s, or Dance, M.O. sets the tone with inventive mixes and a knack for reading every audience.
