Remix: Ties Made from Recycled Cassette Tape

How about trying an adult version of the mixed tape on for size? The Sonic Fabric necktie, made from 50% recycled cassette tape and 50% polyester, allows you to do just that.

Each tie contains a unique composition that is prerecorded on the tape used to create the fabric. Compositions become audible by running a tape head over the tie. The fabric, which is made in Rhode Island and was once only used for art installations, is hand-sewn in New York to create these unique masterpieces.

Ties cost $120 and can be ordered at Sonic Fabric.
