NiK Kacy Launches Inaugural “Equality Fashion Week” in Los Angeles

NiK Kacy, the founder and President of the luxury gender-equal NiK Kacy Footwear line, is bringing styles from out of the closet and onto the runway by producing Equality Fashion Week, a week long celebration of queer style slated to launch Friday October 5, 2018. Equality Fashion Week will be a 5-day experience of LGBTQ+ artists and designers including a runway show, pop-up meet-n-greets, and fashion displays. The groundbreaking event fills in an important gap, as there are no other fixed Queer Fashion events representing the LGBT community in LA. Featured brands include:

DapperBoi
NiK Kacy Footwear

Kicking off the festivities on Friday October 5th – a day before the commencement of Los Angeles Fashion Week – Equality Fashion Week will officially present its exclusive Fashion Show hosted by Carmen Carrera on the rooftop of the trendy Montrose Hotel. The iconic hotel is the home away from home for entertainments best and brightest. Committed to the LGBTQ+ community, it hosts and partners with top organizations including the Elton John Aids Foundation and the 2018 Lezathlon LA After-Party. The main runway show will be followed by an impressive schedule of events listed here.
