Feminist Speakeasy Founder, Dāsha Guyton is a writer, full-time feminist, and self-love advocate based in Hyde Park, Chicago. She uses her point of view as a multi-racial lesbian and intersectional feminist to curate and create conversation-starting pins, shirts, and jewelry.
Black Queer Magic
BlackQueerMagic represents the creative and spiritual journey of Vanessa B. Miller, a Black, Queer, Jamaican woman. Vanessa is a self taught jewelry designer, lapidarist, gemologist, and metal worker who merges community activism with her love for jewelry design. Vanessa creates handmade healing crystal and metal stamped pieces with a focus on Black Queer and Trans liberation. Through her online platform BlackQueerMagic she does outreach, donates, and engages with community members from across the world. Vanessa has vended at over 30 events, including the 30th Creating Change Conference 2018, since beginning her journey in 2016. In addition, Vanessa has facilitated jewelry design workshops in partnership with organizations like BYP100, NIRH, Camp Fort Greene, University Settlement, and BlackQueerMagic.
Snash Jewelry carves every design out of wax and cast / produce them in our NYC studio. We employ a small all-female team and work with local contractors. All pieces are 100% USA made using recycled metals whenever possible.
