[VIDEO] Annie Lennox Talks Gender-Bending And Global Feminism on MSNBC

Singer Annie Lennox is a style icon who trailblazed androgynous fashion with her famous suits and short hair in the 80s and 90s. Lennox was recently on MSNBC’s The Beat With Ari Melber and spent some time discussing her gender-bending style and global feminism. In the video below, Lennox shares how people questioned her sexual orientation simply because she wore suits, which the dapperQ team often hears from our heterosexual readers who share with us how their gender presentation and sexual orientation are often erroneously conflated. Lennox goes on to say she made the decision to wear suits so that she could seen as a powerful performer and as an equal to her partner David A. Stewart in the British pop duo the Eurythmics.
