Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande Virtual Casting for Video to Promote Benefit Song

On Friday, May 1, Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande announced that they are collaborating on a new song, “Stuck With U,” which is scheduled to debut on May 8. The two stars partnered with the First Responders Children’s Foundation and SB Projects and proceeds from both the streams and sales will support “grants and scholarships for children of healthcare workers, emergency medical technicians (EMTs), paramedics, [and] police officers and firefighters serving at the front lines during the global pandemic.”

Bieber and Grande posted on social media that the song’s official video will feature footage from fans’ self-filmed home videos. Bieber posted on IG, “I want to see you guys having fun in quarantine. This is the prom song for everyone who can’t go to prom now. Tweet us videos using #stuckwithu or #stuckwithuvideo of you in your prom dresses or suits with your loved ones having fun or dancing to the instrumental. If you don’t have that, just have fun with your loved ones.” Grande expanded on this stating that fans can also submit of them dancing solo or with loved ones or pets because, she stated, “that’s beautiful too.”

We encourage members of our LGBTQIA+ communities to be visible on this hashtag because, not only have our communities been uniquely and disproportionately impacted by this health crisis, many of us from all generations also do not get to experience prom EVER, or if they do, they often do not get to bring their full, authentic selves to the experience.
