Amy Stretten is a bilingual, Black/Indigenous queer Femme, journalist and creative entrepreneur. Through her highly successful cultural fashion website, The Chief of Style, Amy encourages people of all shapes and sizes to love themselves and their bodies exactly as they are. As with Native American regalia, Amy believes what we wear is how we communicate to the world who we are, what we care about, and where we come from. Amy is a member of the Chickahominy Tribe of Virginia and graduated from CUNY’s Newmark Graduate School of Journalism and Mount Holyoke College. Adding to these accolates, Amy was recently featured in dapperQ’s debut book dapperQ: Ungendering Fashion as a model and preimenent voice in queer fashion.
