Seven Days of Dapper: Eddie Maisonet

Do you repeatedly wear the same outfit because you are completely out of ideas about how to dress for the myriad activities you have booked in your busy weekly schedule? Are you excited to accept invitations to gatherings, only to find your excitement crushed by the prospect of pulling together decent outfits for these events?

Some people who regularly wear their pajamas to the movies may actually care about fashion, but just don’t know how to go about finding a personal style and comfortable clothes that work for them (the same way I care about having a warm and inviting apartment but struggle with interior design.) It is often very difficult to coordinate multiple ensembles on a limited budget, and even if you have money, cash cannot buy creativity. Sometimes, all that is needed is a little inspiration from another dapperQ to help start the journey of finding your own unique personal style, or even just enhancing your existing dap.

I recently had an opportunity to correspond with Eddie Maisonet, an 18 year old musician and a student at Smith College, about dapperQ style. Eddie stated, “personal style is an exciting mode of expression and I have a passion for it. I’m no model or fashion expert, but I know what looks and feels good on me.” With that, I asked him to give our readers some inspiration by providing us with seven days worth of looks, from his very own closet, that can be mixed and matched for various occasions. Here is what he came up with:
