We’re back with a brand new Seven Days of Dapper. This is not only our first post on the website in 2023, but the first Seven Days of Dapper since 2020. The past few years have been very difficult and throughout all of the fear, uncertainty, and trauma, we have found some healing by focusing on the comeback of our annual New York Fashion Week show at Brooklyn Museum, as well as authoring dapperQ’s first print book, forthcoming by HarperCollins Designs!
This week, we started putting the finishing touches on the book and wanted to return to nurturing our digital spaces. We’re featuring seven days worth of style from Lavon Caeli’s closet.

Day 1 – Traveling in Style
Whether you’re heading to a business meeting with some colleagues or closing on a business deal. This look is guaranteed to make heads turn as it gives sophistication and professionalism.

The ultimate dapper look. It’s not too over dressed and not super underdressed. The perfect blend of clean and simple, that can be worn for multiple events and occasions.

Day 3 – Vacation Papi
It’s giving real Miami, vacation vibes! Perfect to walk along the Miami beachfront sidewalks and grab a bite to eat.

Day 4 – Winter Warm
Fall/Winter seasons call for an overcoat. This look would be suit nice on a dinner date night on a chilly cold night. But be prepared to hand over your coat to your special someone to keep them warm.

Day 5 – Smart Casual
This look is something I’d wear to work on a casual Friday. Instead of wearing dress shoes to make it more business casual, I decide to pair the suit with sneakers to give it the perfect smart casual look.

Day 6 – Brunch
Saturday we do brunch and this monochrome look is perfect to get together with friends, have some great laughs while throwing a couple of mimosas back.
