The trans presence is an obvious one among us dapperQ’s — negotiating space and negotiating clothing. The issue goes beyond gender identities. We reclaim sovereignty over our outward appearance and don’t ask people to agree. Some of us don’t even ask them to understand.
Kenny, pictured in the photo with his gorgeous gal Christine, is a welcome and needed representation of where the two meet. He has been on T for the past year, so he knows the challenges dapperQ’s face which are further complicated by a changing physique. He tells us where he finds clothing to fit a “big boy” and, when asked, advice he would have for other dapperQ’s developing their own sense of style.
That is one HANDSOME FELLA. I like the belt buckle and the pinky ring, too.
Sharp – I particularly like that he’s using the red from the tie as a visual punch of color to break up the gray and black from the shirt and vest – nice.
