Suited, a new HBO documentary produced by Lena Dunham (Girls) and Jenni Konner, and directed by Jason Benjamin, tells the story of Bindle & Keep, a Brooklyn tailoring company that makes custom suits for gender-nonconforming and transgender clients. We were honored that our first fashion show at Brooklyn Museum closed the documentary and were thrilled to host a private screening of this impactful film.
HBO has continued its important work in advancing visibility by creating ‘GET SUITED,’ a contest where LGBTQ youth were asked to submit videos for the chance to win a trip to NYC, attend the premiere of SUITED with Lena Dunham, and have a custom suit created by Brooklyn-based doc subject Bindle & Keep.
