A Very Dapper Wedding: Steph and Lela

We had Steph and Lela’s wedding scheduled on our editorial calendar to publish this week. But, it is with great joy and tears in my eyes that I update this post with an announcement that this is the first Very Dapper Wedding that we are publishing on the very day that the Supreme Court legalized weddings nationwide. We invite you to take a look at all of the weddings that dapperQ has featured over the years before this historic ruling. And, now we present to you Steph and Lela:

Steph: Lela and I met in 2010 in a college class, and we were married on top of the Empire State building on February 14th, 2012. We entered a wedding contest with Colin Cowie, and he designed our wedding. We were also featured on an episode of Say Yes to the Dress a week before we got married, which was a fun experience.

Our attire: Both Lela and I got our wedding attire from Kleinfeld Bridal in NYC. Frank Jedda custom tailored my tux, and Lela wore an Alita Graham gown.
